Interesting facts about me

I am a divorced mom of two a son Thomas 18 who will depart for Parris Island on June 16, 2009, and a daughter Sierra 20. I have two granddaughters Bridgett 2 and Tayler 1. My son become a Marine on September 11, 2009. He always wanted to be a Marine and then on September 11, 2001 he came and told me that he will be a Marine and protect us all. At age 10 he knew that he would be a Marine. I like all moms am proud and scared for him. I know that he will be a great Marine and do America proud.

I'm not going to be able to make it to Family Day and after my 5 hour drive I'll probably miss the meet and greet. But I'll definitely be at graduation! Thomas is in my prayers as well.

My boyfriend is in the same platoon as your son. His name is Michael Nolen. And there is another girl I've met on here who's boyfriend is also in the platoon. His name is Mike McNish. I don't know if your son knows either of them, but regardless I wanted to say hello and I hope everything's going well for you!

Thank you so much. It it great to hear from other recruits families. My sons name is Thomas Garrett. I do not know if your boyfriend knows my son either. Hope to meet you at the meet and greet. Everything is going as well as to be expected. We only have 32 more days till we see our recruits on family day. I will let my son know that I have talked to you and see if he knows your boyfriend. I hope all is well your recruit and family. I will keep you posted on any updates please do the same. Recruits Nolen and Mcnish are in my prayers.
